MomCo members are invited to submit a proposal online to win a $10,000 grant to reach moms in local communities or online with practical resources and the love of Jesus.

10 innovative projects will be awarded $10,000 each.

What kind of projects are we interested in?

We are looking for creative, scrappy, innovative, and fun programs that:

  • Meet the practical needs or improve the lives of moms or kids in your community or online.
  • Share the message of Jesus in a winsome and compelling way to moms in person or online.
  • Gather diverse moms who might not normally come to a MomCo group.
  • Spread kindness to moms in your community or online and invite them to a MomCo group.
  • Garner social media virality in a good way.

What's included in the grant?

10 Proposals will Win:

  • A $10,000 grant to fund a proposed project to be used by July 31, 2025.
  • A Trip to MOMCON for 2 [including flights, hotel and food] where you will share a 5-7 minute pitch about your project at a pre-event. The top scoring pitch (determined by audience vote) will win an extra $2000 for their project as well as share their presentation from the main stage in front of 4500 people. 
  • Access to a MomCo support team includingbusiness coaches, graphic design help and speaking coaches.

Important Dates

June 1, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. MT: Deadline to apply. All interested parties will be required to complete a short application detailing their idea.

July 1, 2024: The MomCo team will announce 10 winners.

October 2-5, 2024: MOMCON in Denver, Colorado. *Winners must be able to attend MOMCON in order to present your idea and compete for the chance to share idea from Main Stage, winning an additional $2,000 for your project.

July 31, 2025: If funded, program must be completed and final report submitted.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Every MomCo member in any country around the world is eligible to apply.
  • Participation is exclusively available to individuals who are active members of The MomCo and part of a registered group at the time of their application.
  • Applicants must be ready and available to pitch their business idea at MOMCON 2024.
  • Applicants who are awarded a grant must submit a final report outlining how funds were used by July 31, 2024.

Pitch Guidelines

  • 1-2 Presenters
  • Must incorporate a Pitch Deck (visuals to share). MomCo Graphic designers will help create.
  • Presenters will have 5-7 minutes maximum. There will be a time clock.
  • Attendance is required at 2 meetings for all winners:
  • 1.A zoom call once the top 10 winners are announced to go over all the details with MomCo staff and meet your support team.

    2.A dress rehearsal on Wednesday October 2nd before the official event.

  • Applicants who are awarded a grant must submit a final report outlining how funds were used by July 31, 2024.

How Awards Will Be Determined

Pitch Night is comprised of an at-large submission process where MomCo members are invited to submit a proposal online.

Ten winners will be chosen by a committee of investors, consultants, business and ministry leaders based on a predetermined rubric. Factors judges will consider when choosing the 10 winning programs include:

  • How many new moms will the program influence.
  • How will the program spread the message of Jesus.
  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Thoroughness of proposal.

Reporting Requirements for Winners

Final reports are due July 31, 2025

Guidelines for Reporting:

  • Please write a letter to the generous donor who underwrote this program thanking them and sharing three specific wins from the program.
  • Please submit any photos, media, social posts, testimonials, or video that can be shared.
  • How were your goals achieved?
  • Were all the funds used? If not, what are your plans with the remaining funds?

Rules, Regulations, and Legal Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in The MomCo’s Pitch Night, a unique opportunity for active members to receive grants aimed at initiating new ministry projects in their communities. Participation in this event is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility: Participation is exclusively available to individuals who are active members of The MomCo at the time of their application. All participants must comply with all local, state, and national laws and regulations.
  2. Application: Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or participation in the pitch night event. The MomCo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select the top 10 proposals based on their alignment with our organizational goals and the impact potential of the proposed ministry projects.
  3. Presentation: Selected applicants will be invited to present their proposals live at MOMCON. Final presentations will be made to the full MOMCON audience, where additional evaluation will occur.
  4. Grant Awarding: Grants will be awarded at the discretion of The MomCo based on the presentations and viability of the proposals. The decision of the panel will be final. Receipt of a grant is conditional upon the awardee agreeing to specific terms regarding the use of funds, reporting requirements, and project outcomes.
  5. No Guarantee of Success: The MomCo makes no representations or warranties regarding the success of proposed projects or the impact of the grants awarded. Participants acknowledge that the development and execution of their projects are subject to factors beyond the control of The MomCo.
  6. Intellectual Property: Participants retain ownership of their ideas and proposals. However, by presenting at MOMCON, participants grant The MomCo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the ideas presented in connection with the pitch night and related promotional activities.
  7. Limitation of Liability: The MomCo will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to participation in the pitch night, the receipt or use of any grant, or the execution of any project.
  8. Changes and Cancellations: The MomCo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the pitch night event at any time and for any reason without liability.
  9. Acceptance of Terms - By applying for and participating in the pitch night, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
