Child to Child
Mom to Mom

As you help your son or daughter pack a shoebox full of gifts, you give a child in need around the world a glimpse of God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ. By blessing them, you bless their moms, too!

Start by filling each box with a “wow” toy (such as a doll or a deflated soccer ball with pump). Then add school supplies, hygiene items, and other toys as well as a personal note and photo from your family. As you send it off with prayer, you will not only delight children, but their moms and entire families as well. When you are finished, take your gift-filled shoebox to a drop-off location near you.

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has had the privilege of delivering more than 168 million Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts to children in over 150 countries and territories.

Luis in Panama was 6 years old when his single mother told him, “I can’t. I don’t have the money but if you want you can pray.” All Luis wanted was school supplies so he could go to school.

He followed his mom’s advice and prayed. The very next day a local congregation invited him to an event where he got a shoebox gift full of school supplies. Luis was delighted he could go to school, and he cried when he read the note inside that said, “Jesus loves you and I love you too.”

When he got home and showed his mom, she said, “Now I know that God is real and He answers our prayers.”

God can use your MOPS group to help answer the prayers of other moms all over the world.
