What to expect
A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there's usually food... food you didn't make! But more important, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. We are a MOPS/MOMSnext group which means that we are open to moms from pregnancy through school age. Come join us!
Who can come?
We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. Military moms know better than anyone that we mother better together, so all moms are welcome.
For the kids
Due to Covid, childcare spots are limited. Please contact Christine Tanko at (912) 424-5964 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting if you need childcare.
The current cost is:
$5 for the first child
$3 for the second child
$2 for the third child
No mother will ever pay more than $10, so if you are one of the awesome moms with 4 or more kids, it's time to celebrate!
There will be a short form required so that you can provide necessary information about your child.
All childcare workers are over the age of 18 and must pass a background check.
We are always looking for new childcare workers. If you have a passion for leading children to Christ and are interested in becoming a childcare worker, please contact the church office at (912) 427-4239.
