What to expect
'MOPS' stands for "Mothers of preschoolers." If that's you, then you've come to the right place!
So, what do moms need? A kind voice. Connectivity to others. Some mothering advice. And sometimes? Just some plain old FUN with friends! Our VIDEO says it all: https://vimeo.com/327159482 (grab some tissues). We're here to love...
A MOPS meeting provides all that...as well as practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations, and videos.
Plus, there's usually food...food you didn't make! But more important, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.

Who can come?
We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. Military moms know better than anyone that we mother better together, so all moms are welcome.
For the kids
[*See our COVID-19 STATEMENT below]
Childcare for children of ALL ages is provided! [including your older, non-preschool aged children]
Our host site (Servant Church) has a staffed nursery & separate toddler room. Nursery workers are female and have passed mandatory background checks. [*NOTE: We've had people ask if you need to attend Servant Church to be part of this group. The answer is no. This is a community group, and EVERYONE is welcome :)]
CHILDREN AGES 5-11: Servant Church also hosts Royal Rangers (boys) and Girls' Club on the premises at the same time as our MOPS meeting. Your children in that age group are welcome to join them for their activities! These groups are similar to Cub Scouts & Brownies - featuring skill training, crafts, snacks, and character/manners training.
FOR OLDER CHILDREN: Servant Church is known for its vibrant and active Youth Group, for ages 12 thru graduation. Activities feature singing, Bible lessons, and games.
*COVID-19 STATEMENT: Every organization has adapted to the Coronavirus pandemic differently. Both our MOPS group & our meeting site (Servant Church) have adopted distancing & sterilization guidelines to ensure your & your family's safety. Masks remain optional for attendees, but are provided onsite if needed. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. We encourage people to regulate their distance between others, and request that everyone is respectful of the distancing efforts of others. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness or have been recently exposed to someone with the Coronavirus, we ask you to contact Jackie (MOPS Coordinator) and not attend until you are no longer at risk.
