By now, you’ve probably heard all about MOPS reaching into new places to connect moms to one another through the power of community, encouragement and hope. We’re so excited to share about all the new places MOPS groups are meeting that it leaves us a bit breathless. So, while we catch our breath, we thought it best to let our moms share their stories of spreading MOPS love to women in new places all around the world.

From the Heart

On the outskirts of her town in northern Brazil, Otnaracy Silva saw a great need. The native mothers living in this area were desperate for community. So Otnaracy did something a little bit crazy and a lot bit courageous: She started a MOPS group.

On a Mission

Knowing that many of the moms at the mission would not feel comfortable walking through the doors of the church, she was compelled to find a space, develop relationships and gain the trust of these women right where they were instead.
