Senior Full Stack Developer

MOPS International is looking to hire a rock star Senior Full Stack Developer. Join the Operations Team and play a critical role in helping us reach 1 million moms. Interested?  Pick up your laptop, send us your resume, and we’ll get started!

Key Responsibilities

  • Create new features as part of a team in our web based ERP software as well as our public website. Participate in the design process, programming, and testing of new features
  • Be able to develop independently in front-end and back-end environments within the LAMP stack
  • Be able to implement fixes quickly and accurately
  • Update legacy PHP to work with updated business rules or to add additional functionality to an existing feature
  • Write and review queries and stored procedures in our relational MYSQL database.
  • Provide technical leadership in improving standards and operational practices.
  • Actively participate in team meetings including daily standups, effort meetings, and sprint-end meetings
  • Complete assigned tasks within two-week sprint cycle
  • Work effectively independently and as part of our IT team
  • Perform code reviews for other programmers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MOPS Faith and Values Statement.
  • Competent in the following areas, and excelling at most: PHP, OOP, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and CSS, debugging issues in code, and Git
  • B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Science course work/relevant academic fields preferred
  • Work experience in developing and maintaining web applications required
  • Strong experience working with version control systems and software engineering processes, with Git a plus.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving in decision-making
  • Driven to achieve results, both personally and as part of a team and is accountable to commitments
  • Systematic and methodical approach to reach a desired result
  • Working knowledge of front-end design and usability standards
  • Effective interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with team members, management, and MOPS staff
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with IT Team and other MOPS team members

Details
The Senior Full Stack Developer position is a salaried, 40hrs/wk in-office position.  This position is eligible for all of our benefits and the salary range is $50k to $60k per year.

Corporate Relations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Event Relations
  • Responsible for supporting the team to achieve MOMcon revenue goals.
  • Coordinates exhibitor and sponsor MOMcon experience from the communication of opportunities through onsite logistics.
  • Research and pursue lead channels for potential exhibitors and MOMcon event opportunities including email, video, mail and phone communication channels (i.e. press releases) to achieve 90% sell through of event products.
  • Ensure that communication to all (internal and external, paid and unpaid) exhibitors and event customers online and in print is timely, consistent and accurate.
  • Coordinates and executes on-site exhibitor registration, support, check-in, materials and hospitality.
  • Conduct phone and email correspondence to increase and maintain relationships, exceeding customer expectations
  • Up-sell exhibitor packages with additional media or opportunities to 50% of exhibitors.
  • Balance the needs of exhibitors and internal teams, fostering trust and ensuring effective communication to deliver results.
  • Ensure the development, delivery and evaluation of an annual survey for all MOMcon customers.
  • A constant eye to elevate to the team any future Elite Sponsorship opportunities within the exhibitor pool.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Digital Media and Small Media Sales
  • Keep all activities and communications orderly, timely, efficient, and documented well in Fusion.
  • Manage the automatic reminder process for collecting advertising materials and submitting them to the Events Production and Marketing team for all accounts assigned.
  • Approve all assigned accounts’ media blasts, to ensure that all sponsor commitments are fulfilled and client has given approval.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Team and Process
  • Maintain SR calendar and inventory as needed.
  • Maintain sponsor/partner ‘products’ in SMS, create invoices in SMS, and train sponsor/partners in the use of the SMS system.
  • Gains confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity with internal teams supporting execution and support of all partnerships. (Accounting, IT, Marketing, Events, LE)
  • Drive internal process and product review for annual and semi-annual reviews of the Media Kit and IT Cart Updates.
  • Follow up with each account after engagements for assigned accounts through Fusion and all available methods and present analysis to evaluate effectiveness and demonstrate activity levels and ROI for sponsors and advertisers (i.e. MOMcon attendance and engagement or FB metric reporting as applies).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of direct sales experience in related area.
  • Two to three years of sales management experience.
  • Ability to take initiative, set goals, and achieve them.
  • Strong professional communication skills.

  • Ability to assess processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Proactive and creative in problem-solving.

Details
The Corporate Relations Coordinator position is a non-exempt, 20hrs/wk in-office or remote position. The salary range is $14-$15 per hour.

Editor and Copywriter

Editorial
  • Provide editorial services for the MOPS organization as needed.
  • Ensure MOPS Magazine’s content results in a high quality product for moms and leaders.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and style guide for use across the organization.
Digital Content
  • Edit content for posting and maximize all posts for SEO effectiveness.
  • Provide regular analytics and strategies for optimizing content streams.
Copywriting
  • Ghost write scripts, articles and content as needed for MOPS staff.
  • Write content for MOPS podcast or additional content streams as needed.
  • Attend and provide input for creative meetings.
  • Invest in a team that is passionate, hardworking, sometimes free-spirited and often hilarious.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in copy editing and serve as in-house expert in AP style.
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability. Ability to assess situations quickly and evaluate viable options wisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to organize, prioritize, and fulfill responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Ability to provide documentation, timetables, and follow-up for a wide range of projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Deep understanding of brand-orientated copy.
  • Extremely strong creative and strategic skills.

Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

Social Media
  • Manage MOPS social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and Clubhouse.
  • Ensure all social media strategies, campaigns and content supports organizational goals, brand image, and value to the user.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and growth to maximize social media campaigns.
  • Reach the masses with MOPS original content, driven by a call to register for membership, join a group, start a group or engage with MOPS in other ways.
  • Exponentially increase following and engagement on all social media platforms.
  • Oversee MOPS web presence and media site.
  • Identify upcoming social media trends, contexts and platforms to position MOPS on these platforms early.
  • Provide regular analytics and direction for optimizing each media stream, including ROI on paid advertising.
  • Manage Facebook Ads, and influencer marketing initiatives to maximize conversions.
  • Secure relationships with social media influencers for mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Work with Marketing Project Manager to reach social media goals associated with each campaign.
  • Create social media calendar for maximized posting across all organizational teams.
  • Develop new and innovative ideas for widening our social media reach.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Design
  • Create designs inside of Canva for majority of social media posts that follow brand guidelines.
  • Help with email and website graphics as needed.
Marketing
  • Participate in brainstorming and other creative team sessions.
  • Continuously listen to the mom audience so the MOPS message is relevant to each generation of moms.
  • Maintain awareness of organizational needs, direction, strategic objectives, cultural and church trends, topics and concerns in order to maximize connection of need with solutions.
  • Invest in a team that is passionate, hardworking, sometimes free-spirited and often hilarious.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Three years of social media marketing experience required.
  • Experience with Canva preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the social media landscape, including channels, trends and best practices.
  • Project management skills to schedule and manage multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Creativity and proven track record with social media engagement.
  • Thorough understanding of social media publishing tools.
  • Experience with Later desired.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to organize, prioritize, and fulfill responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Some design experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to provide documentation, timetables, and follow-up for a wide range of projects simultaneously.
  • Tech savvy with strong computer skills (proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel).
