Why Do I Need MOPS?

God has used MOPS to help me be a better mom in many different ways. I needed to see the truth of God and his truths about me. He showed me there is hope where I was hopeless. He also helped me to be a better mom by finally being able to enjoy and nurture my children. I spent their first years unable to truly be there for them; I am now able to give them the love, attention and support they need.

I was living an empty shell of a life, and God has brought me to a rich, abundant place, through the friendships and support of MOPS.
Liesl - West Virginia

I have been granted the greatest gift of all. I am the audience and conductor of our children’s life-long concert. While their fingers are merely touching keys and strings, MOPS has taught me the importance of my hands' work. As a mother, my hands are entrusted with God’s greatest composition, the formation of a child. Every caress, each wipe, and any touch can create repercussions that will resonate throughout a lifetime.
Donna - Rhode Island

I was not a born leader. But suddenly, through MOPS I found myself leading a discussion group, then leading the discussion leaders...and finally speaking to the whole group...I will always be a "MOPS mom," even though I'm graduating, because MOPS has "grown me" as a leader - as a mother - as a women - and as a follower of Christ. Elizabeth - Wisconsin
