| Connections is published four times a year by MOPS International in order to provide continuing leadership resources, encouragement and networking opportunities for local MOPS leadership. |
|
|
|
|
| Audience and Distribution: |
|
|
- Approximately 25,000 volunteer Steering Team leaders in local MOPS groups, most of whom are mothers of preschoolers.
- The audience of Connections is Christian, and they are familiar and committed to the mission of MOPS.
|
|
|
|
|
- Connections is looking for articles that will train women in Leadership for Life skills and provide them with practical tools and ideas to help their local MOPS group grow.
- We are looking for articles that will share relevant training or information with local MOPS leaders. Using your own or your MOPS group’s experiences, share general principles that could have a broad appeal to a diverse selection of MOPS groups. For example, an article on reaching out to moms with special needs children, or how your Steering Team learned the importance of planning ahead.
- Connections also accepts specific stories or suggestions from local MOPS groups that have developed a creative and successful project or program. Examples include successful fundraiser ideas, suggestions for recruiting MOPPETS workers or Steering Team leaders, or a popular Creative Activities project.
- All submissions should be written from a biblical, but not doctrinal, perspective. MOPS is non-denominational and Chartering Ministries represent a wide array of sizes, congregations, and denominations. Please be sensitive to your audience.

- Stories and articles should not be longer than 750 words. If accepted, stories will be edited by MOPS International to fit the language, flow, and size of Connections magazine.
- Please send a typed copy of your article and keep a copy for yourself. MOPS International will keep the copy that you send us on file to consider using in a future issue.
- At this time MOPS International does not have a budget to financially compensate contributors. All submissions are made on a voluntary basis.
- Include your name, address, phone and email on the first page of your article.
