Why does MOPS International support
Compassion International?

Compassion works through local churches and other local Christian organizations, much as MOPS International does. The outreach of Compassion is actually implemented through a local church, anchored and active within the communities.

Compassion meets the needs of the child, which ultimately helps the family. MOPS meets the needs of moms, which ultimately helps the children. Working with Compassion enables us to live out the full circle of love.

Compassion believes that after meeting a child's needs for food, healthcare and education, the child's greatest need is spiritual. MOPS believes that after meeting a mom's felt needs, we meet her greatest need by showing her the source of hope we have found in Jesus.

Compassion believes in building relationships, as MOPS does. A sponsor stays with the same child through that child's growing up, which allows sponsors to build meaningful relationships with children.

Compassion is highly respected for their integrity and financial management, with the record for getting the highest percentage of a sponsor's money directly to the child's point of need.
