MomCON2013 – MOPS International Convention

Join us in Kansas City for some valuable YOU time. Our promise: It’ll be fun! You’ll learn something new about YOU – the woman, mom and (for some of you) leader. You’ll be challenged, empowered and loved. You’ll never forget MomCON – the weekend that lasts a lifetime!

We want to help you bring the whole gang! And we want to make it fun! MOPS is holding a Wheels on the Bus Music Video Competition, and you are invited to participate. Grab your flip cam or smart phone, your leadership team or your go-to MOPS gal pals, and start filming! Make it your own – maybe one of your mom friends is a wannabe rapper, opera singer, or pop star. Write your own lyrics, inspired by the original, about your group’s journey to MomCON, then perform your song in an original music video. The winning entry will receive a MomCON 2013 – MOPS International Convention registration, two runners-up will receive a $50 gas card for the trip to KC.

What: Wheels on the Bus Music Video Competition

When: February 18 – March 11, 2013

How: Record an original Music Video about your journey to MomCON based on the iconic song “The Wheels on the Bus.” Upload your masterpiece to YouTube and title it “MOPS Wheels on the Bus.” Then email a link to your video to Press@MOPS.org.

Why: Fun & Prizes! The winning group will receive a MomCON 2013 registration with two runners up receiving $50 gas cards.

The Rules: To enter you must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the continental United States. Entries must be received via email no later than Midnight CST on Monday, March 11, 2013. Winner(s) will be announced via Facebook (facebook.com/MOPS.Int), Twitter [twitter.com/MOPS_Int] and at www.MOPS.org/bus on Monday, March 18, 2013. Winners will be determined at the sole discretion of MOPS International by a process of voting conducted onsite by MOPS International staff. Participants agree that MOPS International may use video and/or audio materials created in conjunction with this contest in whole or in part for promotional purposes online, via email, through print, or any other medium deemed necessary by MOPS International and its staff. No purchase is necessary to participate in this competition.
