MOMcon 2013 Registration Terms and Conditions
Thank you for reading the following terms and conditions for the MOMcon 2013. These are in place so that the MOPS International Events team can effectively deliver a high quality and effective experience for all Convention attendees.
Deadlines: Registrations must be submitted online by midnight EST the day of the deadline in order to qualify for that registration price. (Early Registration opened August 9, 2012. Regular Registration opens June 16, 2013.) Please register first before making travel plans. Online Convention registration closes September 22, 2013.
Registration Changes: All attendee registrations are final upon online submission.
On-site transfer of one Convention Registration to a new registrant will be subject to a $20 handling fee.
Workshop: General Session, Workshop presenter, topic and location are subject to change.
Attendee Registration Refunds: Registration fees for the 2013 MOMcon are non-refundable but transferable to another party. As mentioned above, transfer of registration will be subject to a $20 handling fee.
Nursing Moms: Convention is a time for renewal and training for MOPS moms and leaders. Due to the size of the event, seating constraints and MOPS International recording requirements, infants and children are not allowed into Convention General Sessions and Workshops.
The Resource Fair does allow infants and children to enter during posted open hours. A private room where nursing moms can pump or nurse will be provided during posted hours of operation. Some moms bring a friend or family member along to care for young children, so the mom can benefit from the Convention General Sessions and Workshops.
Health: The Kansas City Convention Center will require a good amount of walking and exercise depending on your room location. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that you're physically able to participate in the event. There are elevators for disabled access.
Meals: One meal on Saturday night is provided in Convention pricing. All other meals are up to the individual registrant. A list of off-site restaurants in the Kansas City Power and Light District are available at www.powerandlightdistrict.com.
Housing: Convention housing is provided for a MOPS International Convention attendee at an extremely reduced rate at the host hotels on the evenings of October 17-19, 2013. Please click HERE to make your reservation with special pricing.
A non-refundable deposit equal to one night's stay will be charged for any housing registration change after final booking at the host hotels. Please confirm the host hotel registration policy before your final booking selection. Hotel registration is subject to the terms and conditions of the host hotels and is not under the control of MOPS International.
Marriott Tax Policy: Room Rates shown do not include 15.35% Hotel Room Tax and a $1.77 City Development Fee Per Night (subject to change). Total room charges will include all room fees and taxes.
Marriott Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will forfeit one night's room and tax.
Offering Project: Participate in a special offering project to make sure that no mom is alone and that every mom has the opportunity to become a better mom through MOPS International. You will have the opportunity to give during a General Session and at the MOPS International offering project booth. |
