Convention 2012 Registration Terms and Conditions

Thank you for noting the following terms and conditions for the MOPS International Convention. These are in place so that the MOPS International Events team can effectively deliver a high quality and effective experience for all Convention attendees.

Deadlines: Regular Registration opens May 1, 2012. Late Registration opens June 12, 2011.  Please register first before making travel plans. Online Convention registration will remain open until August 8, 2012. Mom Prom tickets and availability are guaranteed through July 20, 2012, after July 20, 2012, please call service to check availability as catering numbers must be submitted two weeks prior to the event.

Registration Changes: All attendee registrations are final upon online submission.

• You are allowed to make workshop changes online through July 21, 2012.
• You will receive tickets for workshop admission at Convention registration check-in.
• You will NOT be able to make changes online after July 21, 2012.
• Workshop changes will be available to change on-site at the Convention Registration Office for a $5 handling fee.
• On-site transfer of one Convention Registration to a new registrant will be subject to a $5 handling fee.

Workshop: General Session, Workshop presenter, topic and location are subject to change.

Attendee Registration Refunds: Registration fees for the 2012 MOPS International Convention are non-refundable but transferable to another party. As mentioned above, transfer of registration will be subject to a $5 handling fee.

Nursing Moms: Convention is a time for renewal and training for MOPS moms and leaders. Due to the size of the event, seating constraints and MOPS International recording requirements, infants and children are not allowed into Convention General Sessions and Workshops.

The Resource Fair does allow infants and children to enter during posted open hours. A private room where nursing moms can pump or nurse will be provided during posted hours of operation. Some moms bring a friend or family member along to care for young children, so the mom can benefit from the Convention General Sessions and Workshops.

Health: The Gaylord Texan will require a good amount of walking and exercise depending on your room location. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that you're physically able to participate in the event. There are elevators for disabled access.

Meals: 1 meal on Saturday night is provided in Convention pricing.  All other meals are up to the individual registrant.  A list of on-site restaurants at the Gaylord Texan Hotel are available at www.gaylordhotels.com.

Housing: Convention housing is provided for a MOPS International Convention attendee at an extremely reduced rate at the Gaylord Texan on the evenings of August 9-11, 2012.   Please click HERE to make your reservation with special pricing.

A Gaylord Texan non-refundable deposit equal to one night's stay will be charged for any housing registration change after final booking. Please confirm the Gaylord Opryland hotel registration policy before your final booking selection. Hotel registration is subject to the terms and conditions of the Gaylord Texan and is not under the control of MOPS International.

Such media include, but are not limited to live events, webinars, websites, curriculum, video resources, MomSense magazine, Connections magazine, donor/development correspondence, marketing pieces, and/or catalogs. I understand that I will receive no payments or royalties for use of this content in any MOPS International Media, including audio, video, print or internet use.
