“So Mom, there’s this really cool thing called MOPS!”
What is MOPS?
MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, has been dedicated to meeting the needs of every mother for nearly 40 years, so no mom is alone. There is a group for every mom with children from newborn to school age including MOPS, MOMSnext, TeenMOPS and Miltary MOPS. MOPS encourages moms to become better moms and equips them with tools to strengthen their families, their marriages and themselves.
A MOPS group is a dynamic, inviting environment where women can come just as they are to build friendships, be encouraged by each other and gain practical parenting strategies. Moms get together to share food, laugh and listen to an engaging speaker. While moms are in a MOPS meeting, their children are lovingly cared for in the MOPPETS program.
Moms come to MOPS because they sense a need in their lives. Moms stay in MOPS because they find a connection to other women and find authentic encouragement to become a better mom.
Better Moms (and Kids) Make A Better World
“MOPS was the place for me to make friends and get personal encouragement as a mom of 4 young children. I value my MOPS experience as one that made me a better mom!” – Diana, MOPS mom
