MOPS International is Certified as a 2011 Best Christian Workplace

Mercer Island, WA – January 3, 2011 – The Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI) is excited to announce that MOPS International is Certified as a 2011 Best Christian Workplace!  MOPS International qualified for this honor due to high scores in the anonymous BCW employee survey.  The BCW survey has been conducted in the US and Canada for the past 8 years and made its debut in Australia this year.  Each of these organizations has a Christian mission and/or values.

Employees of MOPS International answered more than 50 questions measuring how well MOPS International is doing when it comes to employee job satisfaction, employee organizational commitment, Christian witness, supervisory effectiveness, opportunities for personal growth and development, customer/supporter satisfaction, teamwork, communication and fairness of pay and benefits.  Additional open-ended questions give the leaders of MOPS International an opportunity to glean even more insight into how they are doing and ways they can improve.

“Although our survey covers a wide range of qualities that a God-glorifying organization should exhibit, there are some foundational qualities that emerge among the best of the best.  These include trust in leadership and a unity found in faith.”  When asked what makes MOPS International great, one employee explained, “It is a ministry that is making a difference in people all around the world. The people that work here. Management is approachable and open to ideas. They recognize hard work and encourage us.”
