MOPS International encourages its members to be better moms and equips them to do just that. We encourage you to attend a local MOPS group, where moms come together to learn, share and experience the season of mothering in a caring and accepting atmosphere. All mothers of preschoolers in MOPS groups are registered for MOPS International Membership through their individual group. We encourage all mothers of preschoolers to join a MOPS group in order to fully take advantage of all MOPS has to offer. However, if a mom is unable or unwilling to attend a MOPS group she can still enjoy the valuable support of MOPS International through membership.

In addition to the media presence, MOPS has equipped each local Kansas City MOPS group with some additional grass-roots marketing tools. Ultimately, the #1 reason a mom comes to MOPS is because a friend invites her! Contact your group coordinator for more information on how you can help spread the word in your area. | 
Mothers of Preschoolers offers local groups for moms who have children of all ages. A MOPS or MOMSnext group is a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a woman and mother so you're not alone. Whether you're a working mom or stay-at-home mom single or married or a teen mom, you need a community of other moms to accept and encourage you. Moms have found community through MOPS for almost 40 years. You could say we're a mothering authority.
