MOPS and Awana Together ... Ministering to the whole family through the local church.

Moms attend MOPS or MOMSnext and children attend Awana.

We see this as a simple solution for busy families. Moms can bring their children to the Awana program where they will experience a Christian community with Christian adults and peers who care about them and where they can get to know God. Moms connect with other moms going through the same stage of life that they are. Moms will grow to have closer connection with the other moms and with the church. No more stop and go ... families stay and grow together through MOPS and Awana.

Local churches can offer MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext (mothers of school aged kids) during the Awana program time. This keeps the children and the mom engaged in quality programs through your church which engages them in your church community. As moms bring their friends to MOPS, the children come along as well and can participate in the Awana program. This extends the reach of Awana into the local community, building bridges between the church and the community.
