The Five Ws of Finding Friends by Tricia Goyer
What: Be open to new friendships, always willing to take the first step. When: Introduce yourself when you first meet someone new and make a point to learn her name. Where: Friends can be found at work, at your kids' school, at church or around your neighborhood. Who: Don't always look for someone similar to yourself. Some of my best friends are those older, younger and very much different from me. Why: God created us to connect. Even though we risk getting hurt, the benefit of having a heart-friend is worth the risk.
