What’s MORE about Charter Renewal in 2010? One Charter Renewal Fee per ministry! Once your Chartering Ministry has chartered one MOPS group (and renews annually), you can have as many additional groups as you want. To start additional groups, contact charters@MOPS.org.

We already have more than one MOPS group. How do we renew?
One representative from the Chartering Ministry (or from one of the MOPS groups) will need to log in to Group Management and renew a MOPS Charter and pay the annual MOPS Renewal Fee. One step and all groups will be renewed!
NOTE: Each group will then need to set up their group information including meeting details and Steering Team for the 2010-2011 MOPS year.

What if our Chartering Ministry is not involved in our MOPS group?
This is a great opportunity to connect with your Chartering Ministry about your MOPS group. Download this Chartering Ministry Resource to share how MOPS is coming alongside your church and engaging your community! Share stories of how MOPS has changed the lives of the moms and families in your group. Ask them to assign a church contact for your MOPS group that you can connect with regularly.

What if each group has separate bank accounts?
Talk to the other leaders and work out who will pay the renewal fees for this year and how you will split the costs.

What’s included in Charter Renewal?
The Charter Renewal Kit which includes: 2010-11 Leaders Library DVD Set (In The Know Leadership Training, 2010 Theme Planning, Momology: The Art and Science of Mothering MOPS Group Curriculum, MOPS Awareness Video Segments, one copy of the theme book Momology: A Mom's Guide to Shaping Great Kids, MOPS Publicity Poster).
One Charter Renewal Kit will be mailed to the Chartering Ministry. After you receive the Charter Renewal Kit, duplicate and share the DVD materials for any MOPS groups you have or may add this coming year.

What if I have a newly chartered group?
Groups chartered between December 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 will not be charged Charter Renewal fees this year. It is important for these groups to confirm group information at www.MOPS.org/renewal so they can receive a Charter Renewal Kit.
