What can MOPS do for my chapel?
In the unique lifestyle our military families face, the message of hope is imperative.
 Moms face challenges of loneliness and frequent separation from their spouses and families. They struggle with moving from base to base and desperately want to find community that goes beyond the surface of Commissary lot sales information and FRG politics.
MOPS wants to reach the mom that knows Christ, but also the mom who is farthest from Christ. MOPS exists to meet moms where they are and share Christ with them in a non-threatening manner.
MOPS is not a Bible study. MOPS is not PWOC. PWOC focuses on the spouse that already knows God and is ready for more. MOPS is focused on bringing the lost mom to the Chapel through MOPS.
Military MOPS is designed for military moms with children ages birth through kindergarten. This season of mothering is challenging and that's where MOPS can help.
Last year over 5,000 new MOPS moms professed Christ as their Lord and Savior - that's 5,000 families that have been touched with the message of hope (not to mention their neighbors, co-workers and friends.) As these new Christians grow, they will start to attend Chapel services and want to serve. They can use their talents in MOPS leadership or PWOC leadership.
