Paper Plate Snowman — Staple a small, white paper plate onto the top portion of a larger one to make your basic snowman. Use crayons, candy, licorice, glitter, Popsicle sticks, buttons, pom poms, felt, cotton balls and glue to decorate your masterpiece. Punch a hole in the top and using some yarn, hang it from the ceiling, a doorknob or coat rack!
- Marshmallow Snowmen — Connect three marshmallows on top of each other on a large toothpick (this is a good job for mom or dad!). Use pretzel sticks for arms and put small marshmallows on the ends for the hands. Use candy and edible markers to decorate the face and body. This craft is as much for to eat as it is to make!
- Cupcake Liner Snowman — Choose three cupcake liners and glue them onto a piece of construction paper to make a snowman. Dress the snowman by gluing buttons and pom- poms on him, or draw with markers on the liners.
- 3-D Paper Plate Snowman — Staple a small paper plate onto a large one to make the basic snowman. Poke a hole in the middle of the snowman's head and fit an orange paper carrot through it (make the carrot by cutting a triangle of orange paper, rolling it into a cone, and taping in place.). Tape carrot in place. Use black pom poms to make the eyes, mouth and buttons. Glue two stick arms made out of brown construction paper on the sides of your snowman. Fill in the rest of the body with cotton balls.
- Bathtub Snowman — If you live in an area with snow, but are concerned about outdoor temperatures, bring in a couple buckets of snow and dump in the bathtub. Dress preschoolers in coats and gloves and allow them to make snowmen. As long as the snow stays in the tub, cleanup is a breeze!
