What to expect
Faith, Fellowship, and Fun!
Socialize with other moms, listen to relevant speakers, take part in community outreach projects, have group discussions, share life and great food!
A few comments about last year:
"It’s exactly what I needed as a new mom. Can’t wait for next year! The constant support and always checking in to make sure I’m alright, has meant so much."
"You didn't know me at all and you loved me anyway."
"When I had to go to the emergency room, I was dreading some doctor being condescending to me, and instead there was [a table mate] who was my ER nurse!"
"Great speakers and activities. Enjoyed meeting new people and learning new helpful things."
"At my table there have been deaths and births and cancer. MOPS has been a beautiful ministry of support, encouragement, mentoring, and service."
Who can come?
We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.
For the kids
Nicole Guthrie, Associate Children's Pastor, and Jessica Beyestrum, Preschool Coordinator, oversee the MOPPETS program during MOPS meetings. All childcare workers are background checked, trained, and love working with our kiddos!
For the 2017/18 MOPS year MOPPETS will continue utilizing the First Look preschool curriculum from Orange Theory. First Look is designed for babies through 5-year-olds. Every element centers on giving preschoolers a first impression of their loving heavenly Father.
