Monkey Cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate cake mix
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Large chocolate chips
  • Vanilla frosting
  • Junior Mints

Step 1
Make cupcakes according to cake mix directions, and frost with chocolate frosting.

Step 2
Mix a small amount of chocolate frosting into the vanilla frosting to get a beige color. Pipe it on with a zipper bag by snipping off the corner of the bag making a small opening. Make one large circle for the mouth area and two, smaller, attached circles for the eyes. Next pipe a few tufts of “hair” with quick upward motions as you release your grip on the bag.

Step 3
Put a small amount of chocolate frosting into another zipper bag and cut off an even smaller corner piece. Pipe on a smile with the chocolate frosting. Now push two large chocolate chips, points down, into the center of your eye circles. Finally, push a Junior Mint into each side of the cupcake for ears.

Enjoy!
