Did you see these amazing family images in the Spring 2014 issue of Hello, Darling magazine? Right in the middle there’s a gorgeous photo spread that we just can’t get enough of. We were so moved by images of this family, that we wanted to give you a second look.

The photos were taken by Bret Cole, an amazing mom photographer. Her work is definitely worth checking out! Here's Bret Cole’s website.

These images originally appeared in the Spring 2014 issue of Hello, Darling titled: Write Your Family’s Story. If you didn’t get a copy and would like your own, you can purchase a copy at co-store.com/mopshop or, subscribe to get Hello, Darling in your mailbox every season.

If you could choose a dream photo shoot for your family, where would it be? What would it look like?

Share your thoughts

I don't have an exact "spot" for a dream photo shoot, our theme would be something like "memories of going, doing, laughing, and loving together as a family". While I love photos with adoring looks of love, and believe me we love our kids, it wouldn't capture the true excitement, energy, and life of our family "on the go" all the time. It would illustrate the love we have for each other, our silly nature with the kids, and that we are on this journey of life together and therefore off to the next adventure as a family. These photos would be something that we all would look back on years later and say, yes we were busy, yes it was crazy at times, yes we had a blast, and yes we loved it, each other, and wouldn't trade it for the world!

I think the countryside somewhere would be lovely. Greens and browns plus pops of color from flowers. Picking outfits would be a whole different challenge- that I am totally up for!

anywhere- sun setting or in the fog, like the above photos. Anything that captures my sweet kids faces makes me happy ;)

Anywhere on the west coast in green, lush, misty beaches!

I love those pics of mama and baby on the beach. Such a sweet family!

My dream photo spot in life at this moment would be right here in Germany, in a field of flowers wearing the traditional German dirndl and Lederhosen.

I'd do a casual beach shoot with a photographer who could capture my boys' unique personalities.

My dream spot is in a field of wild flowers high up in the mountains

I would love some at the beach or in a field of wildflowers! It would look beautiful!

We had our own dream photo shoot the first time we took the kids to the beach! We drove two LOOOOOOONG days over the mountains, through the woods and across the desert to reach Avila Beach, CA. And all the while we told the kids we were going CAMPING. #BestSupriseEver I'm not a great photog, but still managed to capture some amazing shots.
