28 Day Challenge

Can one month brighten your year? We’d like to think so. Lots of remarkable things happen in 28 days. The moon progresses through all of its phases of illumination, our inner wombs progress through phases that reflect the moon’s cycle of ebbing and flowing, and research suggests that new habits take at least 28 days to come to life. We think the number 28 is significant in helping our outer rhythms sync up to our inner rhythms. Which is why we decided a 28-Day Challenge was just what we needed to rally every woman toward a centrifugal, introspective month, culminating in one big thing.

Sometimes being a grown-up is hard, which in turn makes us way too serious. Our hope is that this challenge will leave you inspired to live a happier, less stressed and more wonder-filled life. It’ll help you become the truest version of yourself, all while relearning how to have fun. When you look back on these 28 Starry Eyed practices, you will find that you rediscovered parts of yourself that you had forgotten, and found glimmers of light in the darkness.

The only thing you need to do is commit to choosing – for 28 days in a row – to either take a risk or to get really honest. Because sometimes it’s the smallest things that can bring us to life. Are you with us?

One more thing … on day 28 we are going to ask you to do something big. Something that really takes the breath out of your lungs. Decide right now before you start what your one thing is going to be and start planning make it happen. Want some inspiration? Watch our video to see what we did with our One Big Thing.

Here are the rules …

Each day you have to pick either a truth or dare.
You must answer all questions truthfully.
You absolutely cannot back out of a dare.
Start planning for your One Big Thing beginning on day one.

I’m in! Now what?

First, join the movement – become Starry Eyed alongside other mothers in the same stage of life. You will also get all kind of other perks and surprises (like the coolest handmade bracelet ever!).

A few other tips.

Looking for some daily inspirational reading that goes along with the challenge? Pick up a copy of Starry-Eyed by Mandy Arioto. It has 28 essays that go along with each day of the challenge. Use the prompts at the end to add some gutsy reflection to your challenge.

Whether you get the book or not, we highly recommend keeping a journal of all your completed tasks.

And finally, share photos of your journey through #wearethestarryeyed.
